About
25 years of building things that can't go down.
I started terminating fiber for a statewide classroom initiative in 1997 — a willingness to learn systems that other people were afraid to touch. Twenty-five years later, that same instinct has taken me through PBX design for a physician-on-demand hospital line, national CPE engineering for millions of subscribers, and ownership of a rural ISP's entire network.
Today I'm applying all of it to QuoraLogic — a self-hosted, 18-host AI communications platform built for real-time, SIP-based voice and messaging. Every layer, from the hypervisor to the identity registry to the voice pipeline, is containerized and run with proven DevOps practices so it scales like a real production fleet, not a hobby rig.

Career
A 25-year climb through telecom and systems work.
2019 — Present
Founder / Lead Engineer — QuoraLogic
Designing and running a self-hosted, 18-host AI communications platform end to end — networking, virtualization, identity, telephony, and the LLM pipeline. Containerized and scaled using proven DevOps methods, with no cloud vendor lock-in.
2023
Network Administrator — KCI Communications
Ran the entire network for a rural ISP — provisioning, outage response, and infrastructure decisions with no backup and no room for downtime.
2011 — 2018
National CPE Engineer — Frontier Communications
Engineered customer-premises equipment deployments at national scale — standardizing rollouts, troubleshooting escalations, and supporting field teams across the footprint.
2003 — 2010
Systems Engineer — LHI
Built and maintained a physician-on-demand telephony system on Asterisk — PBX design, call routing, and uptime for a service where a dropped call meant a missed patient.
1997 — 2001
Lead Fiber Terminator — Northern Datacom
Led fiber termination on a state initiative to bring fiber into every classroom — the first rung on a 25-year climb through telecom and systems work.
Projects
18 hosts, working together, reaching you on every channel.
Every service in the fleet talks to the others — identity, voice, automation, and clients — then routes what matters to you, wherever you are: mobile, desktop, phone, email, or SMS. All of it running quietly behind the scenes.
Identity & Access
QuoraIAM
The identity and rights registry for the whole fleet — Authentik sync, user provisioning, and health status for every service that depends on knowing who's allowed to do what.

Voice AI
QuoraLogic Voice Agents
Real-time, SIP-based AI phone agents with per-agent guardrails, capability toggles, and a fully inspectable system prompt — nothing the agent knows or can do is hidden from the operator.

Automation Engine
qouraPresence
A unified notification feed that aggregates email, SMS, and system events into one triaged inbox — severity-tagged, source-filtered, and built for signal over noise.

Desktop Client
quoraDesktop
The unified client for the fleet — AI, SMS, email, chat, voice, and video from one home screen, with live reachability status for every backend service it talks to.

Agent Fleet
QuoraLogic Agents
A roster of task-driven AI agents running concurrently, each with its own queue, review state, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints — visibility into what every agent is doing, live.

Property Management SaaS
Roostd
A full property-management product built on the same fleet — portfolio dashboards, late-rent tracking, and a drag-and-drop escalation-policy builder for automated rent reminders.
